Three months on the job, and over 1000 drawings. After the first week they wanted everything done on paper and I got tired of taking photos of everything i Was doing. So, here is a curation of some of my favorites that i captured from the dozens of notebooks I turned over.
My official job on Station 11 was to be the sketch artist for all of Miranda's on camera work as well as start on preliminary layouts for the comic book, comic book cover, and costume designs while the department was being built. Though production was going pre March 2020 and, after the pandemic my work on the comic book ended as I was told it was out sourced to a unit in Canada. Though i briefly still continued to consult on things around miranda, who like me is a Caribbean girl raised in chicago who grew to be an artist.
So, part of me will always be in this series.
